Supplementary Information to End of Year Trading Statement
Kesa Electricals plc ("Kesa") today announces supplementary information for the full year revenue growth figures reported in yesterday's release.
The information for Menaje del Hogar included in Other*, compared a full 12 months for the year ended 30 April 2009 against a full 12 months (on a proforma basis) for the year ended 30 April 2008.
Kesa acquired Menaje del Hogar with effect from 30 September 2007 and therefore in Kesa's consolidated statutory accounts for the year ended 30 April 2008, Menaje del Hogar was only included for 7 months.
For Other*, a comparison on a statutory reporting basis would show revenue growth as reported of 28.9% rather than 21.5% and in local currency 8.4% rather than 2.2%. Likewise, on a statutory basis, Total Group revenue as reported would be 9.6% rather than 8.3% and in local currency would be (1.2)% rather than (2.4)%.
