Supercanal Litigation
On 21 May 2012, Grupo Clarín S.A. (the "Company") informed the Argentine Securities Commission and the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange that Fintech Media LLC ("Fintech"), one of the shareholders of the Company's subsidiary Cablevisión S.A. ("Cablevisión") had informed Cablevisión of a decision rendered by Dr. Francisco de Asís Soto, Federal Judge on Civil and Commercial Matters of the City of Buenos Aires (Court No. 6, Secretariat No. 12) (the "Buenos Aires Court"), whereby that judge had (i) admitted Fintech's request that the Buenos Aires Court declare that the court currently hearing the case "Supercanal S.A. C/ Cablevisión S.A. y otros s/amparo" lacked jurisdiction; and (ii) sent notice to Federal Court of First Instance No. 2 of the Province of Mendoza, Secretariat No. 4 (the "Mendoza Court") requesting that court to send the case files so that the case may be heard by the Buenos Aires Court or, if the Mendoza Court did not accept such request, to bring the case before the competent court resolve the matter of jurisdiction.
