("Asian Citrus" or "the Group")
Trading Update
Asian Citrus, the largest orange plantation owner and operator in China, announces that the latest yield from its Summer Orange crop at its Hepu Plantation was 72,408 tonnes compared with 71,252 tonnes for the harvest undertaken at the same time last year, representing an increase of 1.6%. The yield of the Summer crop is in line with management's expectations for summer production.
The annual yield for the Group increased from approximately 152,059 tonnes to about 186,938 tonnes in the current year which represents an increase of approximately 22.9%.
The full year results of the Group for the year ending 30 June 2010 are expected to be published in mid-October 2010.
