Styles&Wood completes first Lidl project
Styles&Wood Group plc, a provider of retail property services, announces the completion of its first project for Lidl at BattleHill, Wallsend, North Tyneside.
The project undertaken by Styles&Wood was to fit out a new shell construction to create the Lidl store. During the project Styles&Wood was responsible for co-coordinating the supply and installation of several German based specialist contractors, such as mechanical equipment and floor finishes. The project, that was completed by Styles&Wood on time and on budget, was part of a wider regeneration scheme in Wallsend for a mixed use, retail, social and residential development.
Food retail is a key market for Styles&Wood and to date the Group has focused on all of the main market food retailers. This project for Lidl therefore plays to the Group's strength in food retail and importantly marks Styles&Wood's first programme for a fast growing value end food retailer.
