Platform Housing Group Completes Board Recruitment

Platform Housing Group, the largest housing association in the Midlands, has successfully completed the recruitment of three new Board members.

The Group had a number of long-standing Board members when it was formed in October 2018. In the last two years a process has been underway to both replace retiring members and identify where additional skills were required in order to successfully deliver the new post-merger strategy.

The new Chair, John Weguelin (former CEO of Zenith Bank), was appointed in July 2020. More recently three new members, Anthony King (former Group Treasurer of the Sanctuary Group), John Anderson (former Regional Chair of the Berkeley Group) and Luciano Zonato (current Interim Programme Director - Customer & Viewer Service Transformation at ITV) have been appointed, bringing with them substantial experience in Treasury, Housing Development and Customer Service. The appointments will strengthen the Board and represent the last recruitments targeted to help deliver the strategy.
