12 May 2015 Capita to become strategic partner to Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust Capita plc (`Capita') announced today that it has been selected as preferredbidder to form a strategic partnership to deliver corporate services forCentral London Community Healthcare NHS Trust (CLCH). The contract is expectedto be worth £80m over ten years to Capita whilst delivering significant budgetsavings to CLCH. CLCH is the largest community healthcare services provider in London, with over3,000 staff supporting a population of more than 1 million people acrossBarnet, Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster and beyond.CLCH is one of only two NHS Trusts in London, and one of only 18 acrossEngland, which exclusively delivers out-of-hospital, community-based NHShealthcare services. Capita will manage and deliver a range of core support services on behalf ofthe Trust, including ICT, HR (payroll and recruitment), estates and facilitiesmanagement followed by the planned delivery of finance services. Thepartnership will enable CLCH staff to benefit from innovation in technology andprocess and operational management, helping to improve the quality of thecorporate services for all CLCH staff at a lower cost. Capita will also bring additional business development and change capability tohelp support the Trust's service transformation and growth plans.
