Statement re Share Price Movement
Motive announces the beginning of pre-orders for Tablet TV in the United States
The Directors of Motive note the recent share price movement and bulletin board comments regarding the launch date of Tablet TV. The Company announced on 15 October 2014:
"its 50% owned joint venture, Tablet Television LLC ("TTV"), is launching its marketing campaign in San Francisco, which will run through October and November supporting a product launch in time for Christmas 2014."
As previously indicated, the Company is advancing towards the launch of Tablet TV in the United States and the UK to occur before the end of the year. The Company and its US joint venture partner are currently targeting Friday 28 November 2014 as the opening of online pre-orders in the US.
As announced on 21 May 2012, under the terms of the joint venture arrangements the Motive group will receive license fees based on the number of antenna-tuners distributed plus its share of joint venture profits. At this stage the board is not able to detail the financial impact as the joint venture agreements are being updated.
Additionally, the Company confirms that it is in discussions with its brokers and advisors concerning a possible raise of capital in the near future. It is currently anticipated that the fundraising would be at a discount to the current market price.
A further announcement will be made in due course.
