Statement re Water Project

MicroFuze International plc21 February 2008 Microfuze International Plc (to be renamed Watermark Global Plc) Commissioning of first pilot plant by Western Utilities Corporation 21 February, 2008 The Directors of Watermark Global Plc are pleased to announce that itswholly-owned subsidiary, Western Utilities Corporation (Pty) Ltd ("WUC") hassuccessfully completed the construction of one of its pilot plants, the Councilfor Scientific & Industrial Research ("CSIR") plant. The construction of thispilot plant, using the CSIR designed process, started in late 2007 and wascommissioned on 15 February 2008. The plant was completed within budget andinitial results from the plant are expected towards the end of February, orearly in March, 2008. The construction of the second pilot plant, the SAVMIN plant, (using a patentedprocess from Mintek, and designed and constructed by Atomaer Pty. Ltd) isprogressing satisfactorily. The plant is being constructed on a modular basisand all modules are expected to be delivered to the site by 25 February 2008.Final commissioning of the plant is expected to start on 1 March 2008 andinitial results are anticipated towards the end of March 2008. The purpose of these pilot plants is two-fold, namely proof of the Company'sconcept and secondly, verification of mass balances, including by-productsgenerated by the process that could form part of the commercialisation phase.The Company has funding in place to finance the pilot plants and the initialstudies to be conducted using them. Following completion of the pilot plants the next step in the Company'sdevelopment will be to select the most appropriate process and commence thenecessary work associated with the upscaling of the process in line with theoriginal plan which was the construction of a 75megalitre (per day) plant whichhas the potential to be expanded to 200 megalitres per day. The Directors are encouraged that this first phase of the project has beencompleted within the timeframes and budgets set and lays a strong foundation formoving forward with the larger project. It is expected that further updates will be provided over the coming weeks.
