Aberdeen City Council: Voluntary Severance and Early Retirement
Aberdeen City Council has today (15 June 2017) confirmed the acceptance of 150 applications for voluntary severance or early retirement from employees across the organisation.
Applications were invited as part of the 2017/18 budget process, as agreed by members of the full Council in February 2017.
Additional applications were received but not accepted, with each considered in the context of operational requirements.
New applications will continue to be accepted to support the ongoing reshaping and modernisation of services.
