STATEMENT RE PRESS SPECULATION
The Board of F&C Commercial Property Trust Limited ("FCPT") notes the recent press speculation in relation to The Mall Fund seeking to raise further equity. The FCPT group owns approximately 3 per cent. of The Mall Fund which, as at 31 March 2008, was valued by FCPT at £34.6 million, representing 3.2 per cent. of FCPT's gross assets.
FCPT is currently in discussions with Morley Fund Management, the manager of The Mall Fund, in relation to this matter and will make an announcement as soon as firm proposals in relation to any equity raising have been received by FCPT.
