7 April 2015 Karelian Diamond Resources plc ("Karelian" or "the Company") Statement re: Press Article Karelian Diamond Resources plc (AIM: KDR; ESM: KDR.I) notes the recent presscomment and confirms that it has withdrawn its application for a ClaimReservation in the far North of Finland. The decision is a commercial andtechnical decision to concentrate diamond exploration efforts on CentralFinland and in particular in the Kuhmo region where the Company has recently discovereda kimberlite body. The Company confirms that it has not commenced explorationin the area.
