The Board confirms that further approaches have beenreceived for Ladbrokes since the statement of 22nd December 2005. Theseapproaches included a number of pre-conditions and failed to recognise the longterm strategic value of Ladbrokes. The Board reiterates its confidence in the business and prospects ofLadbrokes and is looking forward to Ladbrokes trading as an independent betting and gaming company.
