Assura Group Limited ("Assura" or the "Company")
Statement re Possible Offer
The Board of Assura announced on 15 January 2010 that it was in preliminary discussions that may or may not result in an offer being made for the Company.
These discussions have now been terminated and the parties from whom approaches were received have confirmed that they do not intend to pursue a possible offer for the Company.
For the purposes of the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers the Company is no longer considered to be in an offer period.
