Statement re Notice of AGM
JJB Sports PLC ("JJB" or the "Company") announces that its 2009 Annual General Meeting ("AGM") will be held at 11:00 a.m. on 24 July 2009 at the Company's head office, Martland Park, Challenge Way, Wigan, WN5 0LD.
In connection with this, the following documents have been posted to shareholders today:
Annual Report and Accounts for the year ending 25 January 2009 (the "Annual Report")
Notice of AGM
Proxy form for AGM
Letter in respect of Shareholder Electronic Communications
In compliance with Listing Rule 9.6.1, the Company has today submitted to the Financial Services Authority (the "FSA") two copies of each of the documents listed above.
Copies of the documents will shortly be available for inspection at the FSA Document Viewing Facility, which is situated at:

The full terms of the proposed amendments to the Articles of Association are available for inspection at the registered office of the Company at Martland Park, Challenge Way, Wigan, WN5 0LD and at the offices of Herbert Smith LLP, Exchange House, Primrose Street, London EC2A 2HS during usual business hours on any weekday (Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays excluded) until the date of the AGM and also on the date and at the place of the AGM from 15 minutes prior to the commencement of the meeting until the conclusion thereof.
