Net Asset Value and Proposed Final Dividend

The Directors of Maven Income and Growth VCT 2 PLC (the Company) confirm that the unaudited net asset value of the Company as at 31 January 2014 was 60.70p per Ordinary Share.

The Directors are recommending the payment of a final dividend of 2.00p per Ordinary Share, in respect of the year ended 31 January 2014, to be paid on 20 June 2014 to Shareholders on the register at close of business on 23 May 2014.

In accordance with Listing Rule 15.5.1(4), and further to the information disclosed above, the Company confirms that it is satisfied that all inside information (being such information as is referred to in that Listing Rule, including any price sensitive information) which the Directors and the Company may have in the period leading up to an announcement of results has previously been notified to a regulatory information service and, therefore, dealings in the Company's shares referred to in Listing Rule 15.5.1(3) are permitted during the period up to the announcement of the results for the year ended 31 January 2014.

Offer for Subscription

Furthermore, the Directors confirm that the unaudited net asset value of 60.70p per Ordinary Share as at 31 January 2014 represents an increase of 10.26% over the adjusted net asset value of 55.05p as at 31 July 2013, which was used as the basis for the Offer Price set out in the Prospectus for the Offer for Subscription issued by the Company on 24 October 2013.

The rise in the net asset value of the Company over that period reflects an increase in the valuation of the portfolio of investments, which has been subject to a full review by the Board. Under the terms set out in the Prospectus, the Board has resolved to amend the Offer Price for New Shares in the Company to 62.90p prior to the next allotment of shares under the Offer for Subscription, which is due to take place on or before 5 April 2014.
