Statement re Narasimharamulu Pantam

It is with great sadness that Greenko announces that Mr Narasimharamulu Pantam passed away on Friday 13th April 2012.

Mr Pantam was a long serving non-executive director at Greenko and was formerly finance director of NTPC Ltd., the largest power utility in India. Mr Pantam was a Chartered Accountant, who was awarded "India CFO Awards 2004" for Excellence in Finance in the Public Sector and the "Top Rankers Award" by the Birla Institute of Management and Technology in 2001 for Excellence in Finance.

Anil Chalamalasetty, founder and CEO, said: "This is a very sad day. Mr Pantam was a charming man who has worked with tremendous energy and diligence. He has played a pivotal role in the development of the Indian power market and was highly regarded by the entire industry. Our thoughts are with his family at this time."
