Daily Telegraph article Arena Leisure Plc has noted an article in the Daily Telegraph entitled"Bookmakers gallop to racecourse funding deal" by Alistair Osborne, concerning acommercial replacement for the horserace betting levy. The article states thatArena is involved in negotiations for a commercial alternative to the levy. Arena totally refutes the assertions made in the article and withdraws itsinclusion in the list of racecourse operators involved in such a deal.
