Petra Diamonds Ld03 October 2006 Petra Diamonds Limited ("Petra Diamonds" or "the Company") Correction - ASX suspension On 2 October 2006 the Australian Stock Exchange ("ASX") suspended the Company'sshares from trading on the ASX. The reason given by the ASX for this decisionwas that the Company had failed to lodge full year accounts to 30 June 2006 inaccordance with the listing rules of the ASX. The ASX have now confirmed to the Company that the decision to suspend PetraDiamonds was an administrative error on their behalf. The ASX will bereinstating the Company's shares to quotation on ASX on 4 October 2006.
