C&C Group plc appoints Paul Walker as General Counsel

Dublin, London, 21 June 2010: C&C Group plc ("C&C" or the "Group"), a manufacturer, marketer and distributor of branded beverages in Ireland and the UK, is pleased to announce that Paul Walker has, with immediate effect, been appointed as General Counsel with responsibility for the Group's corporate governance, legal and regulatory affairs.
Paul was most recently a Partner at Lawrence Graham LLP where he handled many of the firm's largest and most complex transactions, across all industries.
Commenting on the appointment, Tony O'Brien, Chairman of C&C, said "We are delighted to welcome Paul to the Group. C&C is now a much larger business having been through significant changes in the last 18 months and Paul's expertise will strengthen our management team."
