Appointment: Chief Officer Finance
Aberdeen City Council has appointed Jonathan Belford as Chief Officer Finance. He joins from his current role as Executive Manager of Finance with Shetland Islands Council and previously served as Corporate Accounting Manager with Aberdeen City Council. The Chief Officer Finance post is a statutory role (section 95 of Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973), reporting to Director of Resources Steven Whyte.
