Takeover Panel25 November 2005 2005/47 AEGIS GROUP PLC ("AEGIS") WPP GROUP PLC ("wpp") AND HELLMAN & FRIEDMAN LLC ("h&f") Further to recent press speculation, and following discussions with the advisersto Aegis, WPP, H&F and Mr Bollore the Panel Executive has ruled that Mr VincentBollore will not be bound by the restrictions set out in Rule 2.8 of the Codein connection with the announcements made by WPP and H&F earlier today that theydo not intend to make an offer for Aegis.
