London, 20 January 2009 - PLUS Markets Group plc ("PLUS Markets") today confirms that it has admitted to its PLUS-quoted market the "Nuclear Power Notes" (the "Notes"), issued to those eligible shareholders in British Energy who elected to receive them in connection with the acquisition of British Energy by Lake Acquisitions Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of EDF.

Barclays Bank plc is the issuer of the Notes, which are linked to Guaranteed Contingent Value Rights Instruments (CVRs). The underlying CVRs are issued by Lake Acquisitions Limited and guaranteed by EDF Energy plc.
