GALLIFORD TRY APPEALS OFT FINE

Following the Company's announcement on 22 September 2009 on the decision of the Office of Fair Trading following its investigation into the construction industry in England, Galliford Try plc announces that it has submitted an appeal to the Competition Appeals Tribunal in respect of the size of fine imposed on the Company.
