We are aware of reports alleging violations of environmental regulations at our research facility in the Hi-Tech Park in Kunshan, China and, after a thorough investigation, we can confirm the following:

4.1 All waste treatment from our facility has been processed in accordance with all relevant government laws and environmental regulations.

4.2 The river that runs through the middle of that industrial park receives wastewater discharges from a number of companies that are based in the park and we can confirm that wastewater discharged by our facility meets all relevant emission standards.

4.3 Our company is committed to contributing to maintaining a sustainable environment through the prevention of pollution, waste reduction, providing environmentally-friendly products, and saving energy, among other efforts. As part of that commitment, we are not just ensuring compliance with the law, our operation in Kunshan is also supporting implementation of the government's environmental remediation program for the Lake Taihu area by working jointly with the Nanjing Institute of Environmental Sciences and the Ministry of Environmental Protection.

4.4 The protection of Lake Taihu is a big endeavor and must be a concerted effort among all those operating in the area. As an industry leader, we are advocating for greater compliance by other companies with local environmental laws and regulations in an effort to work together towards a cleaner and greener environment in the Hi-Tech Park and in the areas surrounding that facility.
