Friends Provident PLC18 April 2008 Friends Provident notes the announcement by JC Flowers that it is no longerconsidering making an offer for the company. Friends Provident remains focused on the implementation of its strategic reviewannounced on 31 January 2008. Good progress is being made and the Board remainsconfident that its strategy will deliver its objectives of improving cashflowand returns for shareholders.
