Standard Chartered PLC will be hosting an Investor Trip to its banking operations in India, Abu Dhabi and Dubai from 17 to 20 November 2008.
The Investor Trip will cover the following Standard Chartered operations and divisions:
17 November India
18 November Consumer Banking, Wholesale Banking
19 November Middle East, Africa
20 November Korea, American Express Bank, Capital and Liquidity, Risk
Presentation slides will be made available on Standard Chartered's website (http://investors.standardchartered.com) each day from 8.30am UK time.
During the Investor Trip the company will provide more granular disclosure of Wholesale Banking's Income in the first half of 2008. This disclosure will be issued by way of a Regulatory News Service announcement on Tuesday 18 November.
No comments on the Group's current trading will be made during the Investor Trip.
