MAJESTIC WINE STAFF WIN SEVEN WSET AWARDS OF EXCELLENCE
Majestic Wine are delighted to announce that seven members of staff were awarded with Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET) "Awards of Excellence" at London's Guildhall on Monday 18th January.
This outstanding performance emphasises the importance we place on our product and customer service training programmes. All Majestic retail staff are required to sit the WSET Advanced Certificate after about six months in the company. We encourage them to further their wine knowledge and 145 either hold or are studying for the two year WSET Diploma.
This year 150 members of staff passed the WSET Advanced Certificate. 54 of these candidates achieved Distinction Level with the following 4 receiving WSET Advanced Certificate level Awards:

Emma Raper, Customer Relations Manager, won The Wines of Portugal Scholarship for a study visit to Portugal as a guest of Vini Portugal.
Steve Lewis, Chief Executive, said:

Special congratulations should go to Lydia Harrison for being the highest performing Diploma graduate currently working in the UK wine industry.
