Prior to joining Spirent, Piconi held several executive management roles across various industries in general management, engineering and operations. He was involved with some of the largest IP video and Triple Play deployments in the world. Piconi also brings significant market, operations and technology expertise in the areas of Wireless and Wireline Broadband Access, Data Networking, Video and IP Multimedia Subsystems (IMS). £ -- William Burns, president of Spirent's Service Assurance division, will serve as Executive Vice President of the Communications Group and will assume additional responsibility for sales and corporate marketing.
