His recent experience includes involvementwith some of the largest IP video and Triple Play deployments in theworld. Piconi has significant industry, operations and technologyexpertise in the areas of wireless and wireline broadband access,converged ethernet, video and IP Multimedia Subsystems (IMS). In hisrecent general management roles at Lucent Technologies, Piconi ledlarge R&D, Engineering and Product Management organizations thatpenetrated new growth markets in next generation access, IPTV and IMS. £ Piconi also brings to Spirent critical experience in end-to-endsupply chain management and operations. At Lucent Technologies, he wasinstrumental in developing the company's integrated virtual supplychain and product realization model, a significant transformation ofLucent's processes and infrastructure that received widespreadrecognition for its cash and P&L results. Prior to his work in thetelecommunications industry, Piconi spent nine years in thepetrochemical industry with Amoco Corporation and British PetroleumPLC.
