Karbon Homes Ltd: 'A' Rating Affirmed, Outlook Stable

Scott Martin, Executive Director of Resources at Karbon Homes, said:

"Against a challenging economic and regulatory backdrop, we're pleased to receive this affirmed credit rating of single 'A' outlook stable from Standard & Poors.

 "It reflects our ongoing commitment to investing in the quality, safety and energy efficiency of our existing homes, acknowledging Karbon's experienced management, strong governance and operational flexibility as we've faced growing costs and increased regulatory requirements.

 "We remain committed to an ambitious development programme, recognising the need for more affordable housing in the North East and Yorkshire and we're progressing with plans to set up a for profit housing association, which will enable us to attract external investment for development delivery.
