Alexander Proudfoot announces progress in its Southern Africa business unit

Management Consulting Group PLC ("MCG" or the "Group"), the international professional services group, today provides an update on recent developments in Alexander Proudfoot's operations in Southern Africa.

Alexander Proudfoot is experiencing increasing demand in Southern Africa from clients in a number of industries, particularly those associated with natural resources. Alexander Proudfoot manages its natural resources practice from its office in Johannesburg.

Alexander Proudfoot has recently signed a significant assignment with Debswana Diamond Company (Pty) Ltd in Botswana, at one of the largest diamond mines in the world. Debswana is a joint venture between De Beers and the Government of Botswana. Working with the client's senior management team, Alexander Proudfoot is undertaking a significant project to help reduce costs in Debswana's mining operations.
