Social infrastructure investments of £13.5 million

The Company, which invests in asset backed loans, is pleased to announce three new investments. Firstly, an investment of a £10.8 million loan secured on a senior basis against two supported living developments and a high complex care facility. The loan note will be issued in tranches and the term of the loan will be no less than 21 years.

The loan is subject to upward-only principal indexation in line with various inflation measures and secured against both the units and the leases thereon. The leases are with housing associations in England regulated by the Homes and Community Agency and are fully repairing and insuring.

Secondly, the Company has made an investment of £2.7m in a 4 year loan secured on a senior basis against a multi-use social infrastructure development in London, which will be drawn immediately.

The Company is a closed ended investment company traded on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange. Its investment objective is to generate attractive risk-adjusted returns primarily through regular, growing distributions and modest capital appreciation over the long term.

The Company seeks to meet its investment objective by making investments in a diversified portfolio of predominantly UK based asset backed loans which have contracted, predictable medium to long term cash flows and/or physical assets.
