Smiths Aerospace Partners With HCL to Open Development Centre in India

SMITHS Aerospace, part of the global technology business SmithsGroup, today officially opens a Development Centre in Chennai, Indiawith partner HCL Technologies. The development centre is the result ofan agreement between Smiths Aerospace and HCL Technologies that wassigned on December 20, 2006. Under the agreement, HCL will provide theresources and management at the centre with 60 assigned positions forengineering services. £ Mike Taylor, vice president, Supply Chain for Smiths Aerospaceofficially opened the development centre.
