Lonmin PLC13 February 2006 13 February 2006 Lonmin Plc Successful completion of number one furnace rebuild Lonmin is pleased to announce the successful completion of the planned extensiverebuild of the number one furnace. The rebuild was completed safely in 27 days(matte tap to matte tap) some 5 days ahead of schedule. The project was alsocompleted on budget. The work completed included the replacement of all thecopper waffles within the furnace and should allow us to run the furnacecontinuously for a period of around 2 years with only tap hole maintenance.
