Situation at Halyk Bank's regional branch at Zhanaozen

No significant damages were caused to Halyk Bank operations as a result of recent events in the city of Zhanaozen, Mangistau region, Western Kazakhstan.

According to preliminary data, 8 ATMs and 3 banking self-service terminals belonging to Zhanaozen regional branch of Halyk Bank were destroyed. Furthermore, some windows were broken and several computers were stolen from the office of Halyk Bank's Pension Fund. More accurate estimate of damages is being currently determined by the Bank.

The management of Halyk Bank has undertaken extra security measures to protect its operations in Zhanaozen.

After the holidays Zhanaozen regional branch and its divisions opened for normal business starting from December 20th and offer all types of services, including money transfers, account opening, deposits, loan repayments, loan applications, etc.
