Sistema files an appeal against the ruling of the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Bashkortostan

Moscow, Russia - 19 September 2017 - Sistema PJSFC ("Sistema" or "the Corporation") (LSE: SSA, MOEX: AFKS), a publicly traded diversified Russian holding company, announces that today the Corporation filed an appeal against the ruling of the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Bashkortostan dated August 30, 2017 on the claim of Rosneft, PJSOC Bashneft ("Bashneft") and the Republic of Bashkortostan to recover from the Corporation and its subsidiary Sistema-Invest JSC losses allegedly incurred by Bashneft as a result of its reorganization in 2014.
