29 October 2014 TANGIERS PETROLEUM LIMITED NEW SIGNIFICANT SHAREHOLDERS Tangiers Petroleum Limited (ASX:TPT; AIM:TPET, "Tangiers" or the "Company")announces pursuant to AIM Rule 17, that it has received notifications of twonew significant shareholders in the Company following the Company's capitalraising ("Capital Raising") announced on 19 September 2014 and approved byshareholders at the General Meeting held on 20 October 2014. The Company has been advised that after purchasing 17,500,000 shares in theabove Capital Raising, Mr Donald Jeffrey Smith currently has a total beneficialinterest in Tangiers of 22,500,000 shares, amounting to 4.98% of the Company'sissued share capital. Mr Smith holds these shares through GFC Super Fund. The Company has also been advised that after purchasing 4,000,000 shares in theabove Capital Raising, Peninsula Investments (WA) Pty Ltd currently has a totalinterest in Tangiers of 14,000,000 shares, amounting to 3.10% of the Company'sissued share capital.
