Ceramic Fuel Cells Limited10 January 2008 10 January 2008 Ceramic Fuel Cells Limited Completes first Shipments to European partners Ceramic Fuel Cells Limited ("CFCL"), a global leader in fuel cell development,announces that it has shipped a NetGenPlusTM unit to the United Kingdom part ofits agreement with E.On UK Ltd and Gledhill Water Storage Ltd to developmicro-combined heat and power (m-CHP) products for the British market. CFCL will next week ship a NetGenPlusTM unit to its appliance partner DeDietrich Thermique, part of the Remeha Group, as part of CFCL's agreements todevelop commercial m-CHP products for the French and Benelux markets. These deliveries follow the December 2007 shipment of a NetGenPlusTM unit toCFCL's German partners EWE and Bruns Heitztechnik, and complete the firstshipment to appliance partners in all four major territories. The CFCL units are being integrated with the partners' high efficiency boilerunits to create m-CHP products for homes across these large markets, under formal product development agreements that CFCL has signed with the appliancepartners and utility customers in each market - EWE in Germany, Gaz de France inFrance, E.On UK Ltd in the UK and Nuon in Holland. Combined, CFCL's utilitycustomers have more than 20 million customers across Europe. NetGenPlusTM is CFCL's next-generation m-CHP system designed to generateelectricity and provide hot water and central heating for homes and smallbusinesses. It is powered by CFCL's advanced metal-ceramic fuel cell stack,running on widely available natural gas. The NetGenPlusTM unit can be easilyconnected to existing gas and electricity networks. In November 2007, theNetGenPlusTM unit was awarded CE approval, enabling the units to be deployedthroughout Europe.
