Jardine Strategic Hldgs Ld27 December 2007 JARDINE STRATEGIC HOLDINGS LIMITED SHARES PURCHASED BY JARDINE MATHESON HOLDINGS LIMITED ("JMH") Following completion of the formalities in respect of incomplete valid tendersaccepted under the Tender Offer by JMH to purchase ordinary shares in JardineStrategic Holdings Limited ("JSH") which closed in September 2007, a total of7,346 shares of JSH representing all the outstanding valid tenders were acquiredby JMH at the Strike Price of US$14.50 per share on 27th December 2007. JMH isa subsidiary of JSH. The shares will be transferred to JMH Investments Limited,a wholly-owned subsidiary of JMH. The acquisition of shares is made in accordance with the share repurchaseguidelines agreed with the UK Listing Authority. JSH is subject to arequirement to maintain a free float of at least 15%.
