Capita Group PLC20 October 2005 EMBARGOED UNTIL 07.00 HRS ON THURSDAY 20 OCTOBER 20 October 2005 Capita Group Plc ("the Company") SHARE REPURCHASE Capita Group Plc announces that it purchased 1,600,000 ordinary shares in theCompany on 19 October 2005 at an average price of 374.73p per share. It isintended that these shares are to be held in Treasury. Following the purchase,Capita Group plc holds 12,590,000 ordinary shares as treasury shares.
