Share Placement - Allotment of Further Tranche 1 Shares

Oilex Ltd ("Company") advises that 9,262,386 fully paid ordinary shares were allotted and issued on 29 October 2009 at an issue price of $0.23 per share as part of Tranche 1 of the recent Placement. These new shares comprise part of the 11,346,000 fully paid ordinary shares which the Company noted in the Appendix 3B lodged on 27 October 2009 were to be allotted on a date to be advised. The balance of the 11,346,000 shares (2,083,614 shares) are expected to be allotted on or before Monday 2 November 2009.
