Share Option Scheme

HAMILTON, Bermuda; Hiscox Ltd.

Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and the London Stock Exchange Plc for a total of 3,000,000 Ordinary shares of 5p each ("shares") to be admitted to the Official List.

These shares are being reserved under block listings and will be issued as a result of the exercise of share options pursuant to the following schemes:

Scheme	Shares
Hiscox Unapproved Share Option Scheme	2,000,000
Hiscox Performance Share Plan	1,000,000

When issued, these shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary shares.
