Old Mutual PLC12 October 2005 Old Mutual plc Share interests of persons discharging managerial responsibilities Mr M C Murray, Company Secretary of Old Mutual plc ("the Company"), has informedthe Company of the following transactions in Old Mutual plc Ordinary sharescarried out today: •sale of 29,339 shares previously held in his own name or that of his nominee at an average price of £1.3478 each; and •purchase of 32,500 shares at £1.3495 each via his self-invested personal pension. Following the above transactions, Mr Murray (together with his connectedpersons, for the purposes of section 346 of the UK Companies Act 1985) now ownsa total of 32,500 shares in the Company.
