Share buyback
Vietnam Infrastructure Limited ('VNI', the 'Company') announces that on 16 October 2012, pursuant to the share buyback authority granted to the Company's Board of Directors on 27 July 2012, and in accordance with the terms referenced in the share buyback programme update announcement on 28 August 2012, Scepter Asia Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, purchased 1,100,000 Ordinary Shares of US$0.01 each at an average price of USD0.29 per share.
Following this transaction, VNI has spent USD2.1 million overall repurchasing 6,190,700 shares which are held as treasury shares. The total number of shares acquired represents 1.54 percent of the Company's 402,100,000 Ordinary Shares in issue and as a result, total voting rights in the Company have been reduced to 395,909,300.
