Abbey PLC07 November 2005 Abbey Plc (the 'Company') Share Buy Back Abbey Plc announces that on 7 November 2005, it purchased 1,000,000 ordinaryshares of €0.32 each in the issued share capital of the Company ('OrdinaryShares') at €9.00 per share for cancellation. Following the above purchase the total number Ordinary Shares in issue(excluding shares held as treasury shares) is 30,010,043.
