Share Allotment/Director Shareholding

The Company has today allotted 10,000 new ordinary shares of 20p each following the exercise of share options under the Animalcare Group plc Executive Share Option Schemes (EMI). The share options were exercised at a price of 57.5 pence.

5,000 of these shares were allotted to Chief Financial Officer Peter Warner. This purchase comprises Mr Warner's entire beneficial interest (0.025%) in the issued share capital of the Company.

Following this allotment the Company has 20,373,711 shares in issue.
