("LED" or the "Company")
Settlement of legal proceedings
The board of directors of LED (the "Board") is pleased to announce that its indirect subsidiary, LED International Green Energy Corporation Limited ("LED Green") has reached a settlement with WPI International (Hong Kong) Limited ("WPI") in relation to their ongoing dispute concerning the sale and purchase of electronic components (the "WPI Proceedings"). The settlement was reached on 29 March 2012, following a lengthy mediation session held on 26 March 2012. Further details of the WPI Proceedings were announced on 23 May 2011.
Whilst the exact terms of the settlement are confidential and subject to legal privilege, the settlement amount payable by LED Green represents a sizable discount from the amount included in WPI's original claim.
LED's Chief Executive Officer, Stephen Chan, commented, "We are pleased to have reached a settlement with WPI and believe that it is in the best interests of our customers, eliminating the uncertainty that this litigation has generated. The willingness of the parties to pursue mediation is indicative of their mutual desire to settle the dispute peacefully and to maintain a good business relationship.
This settlement will now enable LED to put this manner behind it and focus its efforts on developing its EMC business model."

Notes to Editors:
LED International Holdings Limited and its subsidiaries specialize in the development, manufacture and sale of low-powered LED screens, outdoor signs, lamps, lighting and building illumination; and high-powered/medium-powered LED energy efficient indoor and outdoor lighting products.
Under EMC contracts, LED fits energy saving products to the customer's premises, including lighting and reactance filtering equipment supplied by LED, and subsequent savings made by the customer in its electricity bills are then shared between LED and the customer thereby enabling the LED to generate recurring revenue rather than one-off sales revenue.
