Electrica informs that, on 24 February 2020, the Bucharest Court of Appeal rejected the appeal filed by Electrica Furnizare SA requesting claims from Electrica in amount of RON 17,274,162. This amount had been noted by the Court of Accounts, through Report no. 2835 / 17 May 2013 and Decision no. 20 / 17 June 2013, which considers it represents the value of the invoices paid by Electrica Furnizare SA in the absence of supporting documents, as well as the payment of the related legal interest.

The appeal rejected was formulated against the civil decision no. 1849/20 June 2019 issued by the Bucharest Court in the file no. 2869/3/2019 (initially announced on 19 March 2019 through the current report published on BSE - IRIS code 1252D and on LSE - RNS number 3500T; first settlement announced on 24 June 2019 through the current report published on BSE - IRIS code DC09B and on LSE - RNS number 2229D).

The decision may be appealed again within 30 days from its communication.
