Sepura PLC17 March 2008 Sepura to supply Pakistan Police Sepura, a global leader in the design, manufacture, and supply of TETRA digitalradios, used predominantly by the emergency services around the world, is tosupply 10,000 digital TETRA radios to the Pakistan police force, in the firstphase of their migration to TETRA. The contract was secured by its distributor,Vision Engineering Group Pakistan, with the country's Ministry of the Interior. The radios will be delivered during FY09, and further orders are expected tofollow in a roll-out totalling 70,000 terminals over the next three to fiveyears, as all branches of the Pakistan Police Force migrate from analogue toTETRA. The Pakistan police force will be supplied with Sepura's SRH3800 sGPSTMHand-held and SRM3500 and SRG3500 Mobile vehicle radios for use in the country'ssix major cities - Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar and Quetta. Graham Matthews, Sepura's CEO, said; "Sepura's entry in to Pakistan is furtherevidence of the Company's increasing international penetration, following otherrecent first-time sales in Australia, New Zealand, Macedonia and thePhilippines.
