Sepura Appoints New Chairman

Sepura PLC, a leading global provider of critical communications solutions, today announces the appointment of Russell King as Chairman with effect from the conclusion of the 2015 Annual General Meeting "AGM" scheduled to take place on Monday 7 September. He succeeds John Hughes who, after five successful years as Chairman, has today announced his decision to step down from the Board following the conclusion of the AGM. The Company will be retaining the services of John Hughes as a strategic advisor.

Russell King has been a Non-executive Director of Sepura since July 2014. He is currently Senior Independent Non-executive Director and Chairman of the Remuneration Committee of Aggreko plc, Senior Independent Non-executive Director and Chairman of the Remuneration Committee of Spectris plc, Chairman of Hummingbird Resources plc and Senior Independent Non-executive Director of Interserve plc. He is also a senior adviser to Heidrick & Struggles.

Commenting on his appointment, Russell King said:
